Her own lived experience overcoming learning difficulties and mental health challenges has shaped her strong empathy and commitment to supporting others with patience and understanding. 

Known for her resilience and communication skills, Brittney provides personalised, respectful care that builds trust and promotes positive outcomes.

Her background includes working with children with autism, adults with complex needs, and individuals navigating mental health challenges, all supported by her clinical knowledge as a qualified Enrolled Nurse.

Brittney is dedicated to continuing her education in mental health, aiming to deepen her expertise and enhance the support she provides to those in her care.

Her hands-on background supporting individuals with diverse needs has helped develop her strengths in communication, problem-solving, and creating inclusive environments where participants feel respected and empowered.

She is passionate about promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing for participants while also supporting the growth and success of her team. Maddie’s strengths include staff leadership, service coordination, behavioural support, medication assistance, and maintaining high standards of care and compliance.

With qualifications in health services and individual support, and further studies in disability support underway, Maddie is committed to continuous improvement and positive outcomes for participants and staff. Her approachable leadership style helps foster strong teams and supportive environments where people can thrive.

Kylie brings a compassionate and people-focused approach to disability support, backed by a strong background in early childhood education and inclusive care. Her experience working with children with diverse and developmental needs has helped shape her skills in communication, behaviour support, and creating safe, supportive settings.

She is passionate about delivering person-centred care and support that promotes independence, dignity, and wellbeing. Kylie’s strengths include adapting support to meet individual needs, fostering positive relationships, and creating inclusive spaces where people feel safe, valued, and respected.

With a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, Kylie is committed to creating positive outcomes for participants and their families. Her reliable and caring nature, combined with a genuine desire to make a difference, helps individuals feel empowered, supported, and confident.

Will Burns

SIL Team Leader

Will is a SIL Team Leader at HCA, bringing a compassionate and person-centred approach to supporting participants. He is passionate about helping people maintain their independence, achieve their goals and live meaningful lives. Will values building positive relationships with participants, families and staff and creating a supportive environment where people feel respected and empowered.

Will has supported individuals living with Dementia, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and mental health conditions, with experience across personal care, medication support and community access. He also has experience supporting participants with a range of individual and complex needs.

His strengths include team leadership, communication, organisation and problem-solving, with experience in staff supervision and rostering, NDIS documentation and compliance, and risk management. Will is committed to ensuring staff are supported to deliver consistent, high-quality care that reflects each participant’s needs and preferences.

Will holds a Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate IV in Disability Support and a Hope and Healing Certificate.

Mason Stonham

Team Leader

Mason brings over three years of experience in disability support, complex care and staff management to his role as a Team Leader at one of HCA’s SIL/SDA residences. He is passionate about supporting participants to live meaningful lives while providing a safe and supportive environment.

Starting as a casual Disability Support Worker, Mason progressed into a full-time role before taking on additional responsibilities in client profile management, stock ordering, documentation and staff coordination. He has experience supporting individuals with complex care and behavioural needs, as well as providing personal care, medication support, manual handling, community access and emotional support.

Mason’s strengths lie in team leadership, organisation, program planning and building positive relationships with participants and staff. He takes a practical and person-centred approach to his work, ensuring support is well organised, responsive and tailored to each participant’s individual needs.

Mason holds a Certificate III in Individual Support and an Advanced Diploma in Community Sector Management, along with current First Aid and CPR training.
